My urban design experience covers a breadth of projects ranging from large-scale masterplanning to smaller community and residential projects, both in a design and review capacity. I have prepared plan change assessments and documentation and undertaken assessments of plan changes for both Auckland Council and private clients. Through this work, I have developed a thorough understanding of housing and apartment typologies, key dimensions and Auckland unitary plan provisions.

With a background in landscape architecture, I am also skilled in conceptual and detailed design and review of private developments and public spaces, across a range of scales. I respect the integral value of a well-designed landscape and celebrate urban design as an opportunity to weave together elements of architecture, planning and landscape architecture to create welcoming, interesting and vibrant places.

Having worked in multi-disciplinary teams both in New Zealand and in the United Kingdom, I enjoy a collaborative approach to reaching innovative design solutions for complex situations and have a passion for creating quality spaces for individuals and communities.
