I'm an internationally experienced urbanist with over 30 years' involvement in both commercial and government sectors. My skills range from implementing long-range vision strategies to the detailed delivery of projects in extraordinary urban settings. I am an advocate for people-focused and place-based outcomes.

In the context of my prior local government work, I understand the needs of council organisations to be innovative with engaging, testing, trialling, procuring, and implementing great spaces and streets. My experience working with many of Aotearoa's recognised landscape architectural and urban design consultancies led to the delivery of the initial stage public realm delivery for the Wynyard Quarter, Westhaven Promenade, and Downtown Auckland waterfront; as well as the adoption of Te Ara o Whakatu, the pathway of Nelson's City Centre spatial plan.

I apply my understanding of working in the public realm to creating unique place-based methods and solutions for our clients, and in growing our consultant team's capabilities.
