I specialise in freshwater ecology, with over a decade of experience across a range of projects throughout New Zealand. In that role, I have assessed ecological values, provided technical advice and developed practical solutions which have enhanced ecological values and benefitted the overall environmental outcomes.
I have worked with a range of clients and project teams to assess and provide advice, including freshwater ecology assessments, surveys and monitoring, fish health and population surveys, habitat assessments and benthic invertebrate sampling. Iam experienced in investigating and assessing ecological values and evaluating the impacts of proposed activities. Helping to ensure sustainable outcomes and good decision-making, through assessing and managing the impacts we impose on environments, is what inspired me to seek a career in ecology consultancy.
