Boffa Miskell was engaged to lead the initial design meetings, providing landscape design from an initial sketch stage through to detail design, and site observation. The design successfully integrates existing features and new developments, improving campus spatial legibility and coherence, and creating unique destination areas with their own character and identity.
The key features of this project are the configuration of furniture elements creating a series of collaboration and private spaces for students to occupy. This was a key criteria of the project scope and promotes diverse engagement.
This multi-zoned project complements the activity spectrum throughout the site, activating the linear student street, as well as providing pedestrian routes and encompasses bold palettes.
