Kaihoahoa Whenua | Landscape Architect
Kaiwhiri | Associate Principal
My journey in Landscape Architecture began in 2013, driven by a passion for nature, art, and history. Over the years, I came to realise that landscape architects are not just artists and place-makers; we also function as environmentalists, sociologists, and advocates.
Throughout the years, I have established a solid background in landscape design, project management, and stakeholder engagement. With my overseas experience, I've had the opportunity to work on a diverse range of design projects, spanning from initial concept to final construction. These projects include large subdivision development, retirement village master planning & design, open space design, and play space development in New Zealand, the Middle East, and Asia.
My career goal as a forward-thinking landscape architect has always centred on shaping communities for a more sustainable and liveable future. In my current role, I am leading and developing the carbon smart design strategy across Boffa Miskell to empower our landscape architects in making more sustainable design decisions.
