Having recently joined the landscape architecture profession, I am enjoying working on projects of various scales and collaborating with colleagues across several disciplines to shape a better environment. As a landscape architect, I aim to explore how the historic land use and cultural legacies of a place can inform the design and management of our existing and future landscapes.

I completed a Master of Landscape Architecture in 2023, researching the sensory and experiential aspects of industrial heritage design, looking at how a multisensory environment can engage people in the landscape and evocate memories.

Before arriving in New Zealand, I gained a degree in Geography and Resource Management and worked as a landscape foreman and assistant horticulturist in Hong Kong for three years. This has equipped me with practical knowledge of arboriculture, landscape and turf management skills, which I can apply to help inform and bring a practical perspective to my design work.

Since joining Boffa Miskell, I have been involved in various landscape, seascape and natural character studies, landscape and visual effects assessments, the preparation of graphic attachments for a number of landscape and visual effects assessments, as well as aerial filming works.

I have strong communication and coordination skills having managed and worked with multi-disciplinary teams and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
