My mahi supports the engagement with and the provision of technical advice to assist whanau, Marae, hapū, Iwi and Māori communities across the motu with whenua Māori development needs and aspirations.
I have over two decades' experience in working with tāngata whenua, Māori and their representative entities and communities in the environmental development and protection space in Tauranga Moana, Te Moana o Toi (Bay of Plenty) and Waikato regions.
Our team provides a wealth of environmental management and development experience across the country with professional working relationships with local and central government agencies. Te Hīhiri provides mana whenua assurance of cultural competency, and safety, with appropriate whakapapa and historical associations that support the teams' engagement plan and protocols.
