Pouwhiri Matua | Senior Principal
I am known for my facilitation skills and innovative approach to resource management. I have extensive experience as both a project coordinator and a specialist consultant on a range of complex planning and design projects.
A comprehensive understanding of the legislative and political processes that influence the manner in which resources are managed, used and developed is essential to the success of my role. As a consequence, I have developed a familiarity with the common challenges faced by resource users and administrators alike.
I am an experienced expert witness, having presented evidence at the Environment Court and at local authority hearings in relation to a range of resource consent and policy development matters. I provide practical planning and consultation advice, ensuring that project outcomes satisfy client, community, and environmental expectations.
