Kaiwhakahaere Kaupapa | Landscape Architect
Pouwhiri Matua | Senior Principal
My design philosophy centres around collaboration and teamwork. I believe in being part of a collective effort to design innovative and creative projects that enhance communities and ecology. My dedication to improving the environment and creating sustainable landscapes is evident in my work.
I have a proven track record of creating high-quality, innovative, and constructible designs. I have been involved in numerous urban design and landscape projects, either leading them or playing a key role. My technical expertise has been developed through collaborating with designers, engineers, and contractors on complex design and construction endeavours.
In addition to my design work, I also work on landscape and visual assessments. I have conducted assessments, presented at council hearings, and undertaken peer reviews. These responsibilities highlight my ability to analyse and evaluate landscapes from a visual perspective, ensuring that projects meet environmental and amenity requirements.
Throughout my career, I have developed a deep understanding of the environment and landscape of the Waikato region. This local experience has allowed me to establish strong professional relationships with a diverse range of clients and colleagues.
