Kaihoahoa Whenua | Landscape Architect
Kaiarataki | Professional
I (Ngāpuhi, Te Rarawa, Pākehā) am from Tāmaki Makaurau with a passion for the varied and unique whenua of Aotearoa. I have a strong interest in Kaupapa Māori design and engagement/co-Design with iwi, hapū, whānau and communities as well as ecological restoration and coastal resilience.
At Boffa Miskell, I've had the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including large-scale residential and mixed-use developments, as well as engagement and co-design with iwi, hapū, and communities. My experience also includes open space design and the design of Māra Hūpara and Māra Kai.
Before joining Boffa Miskell, I completed my Master of Landscape Architecture degree at Te Herenga Waka (Victoria University). My thesis, 'Whakaniko te Tūrangawaewae,' explored how understanding Tūrangawaewae and Mauri could enhance a dynamic coastal settlement while prioritising Papatūānuku.
I'm continually seeking new knowledge and opportunities to work with iwi, hapū and whānau on kaupapa Māori projects. I'm proud to bring a unique perspective to our team and look forward to collaborating with others to create meaningful and impactful landscapes.
