I enjoy designing new spaces and places for people, collaborating as part of multidisciplinary teams, and delivering successfully built projects. I am an experienced masterplanner and designer who thrives working in multi-disciplinary project teams from the initial concept through all stages of design delivery to being built on the ground. My experience includes commercial, educational, housing, recreational, playground design, public realm and the development of design guidelines for significant urban spaces.
I am one of the company's national design leaders and a committee member of the local branch of the New Zealand Institute of Landscape Architects (NZILA).
My recent project work includes the design of a prominent waterfront public space for the SAILGP event, Te Nuktutai o Tapoa in collaboration with Ngāti Wheke and Christchurch City Council. I am leading the design and construction of a landmark building development for AgResearch at Lincoln, working alongside Ngāi Te Ruahikihiki ki Taumutu.
I was a key design member in a collaborative consultant team working on the ambitious and innovative masterplan for Milford Sound/Piopiotahi, known as the Milford Opportunities Project. This project has garnered significant recognition, having received several awards, and it is currently in the third stage of design and delivery.
